A Day of Networking, Recognition, and Pure Fun! The NTA Connect at the Castle Partner Event Recap

Our latest annual partner event was nothing short of a spectacle. Held in a breathtaking castle, we set the stage for a day of networking, learning, and celebrations. As partners entered the opulent venue, they were warmly welcomed by the NTA staff, each receiving a goodie bag brimming with their company’s branding on items, a thoughtful touch that immediately showcased NTA’s commitment to our partners.

A Startling Announcement

Paul White, Director of NTA recounted, “I kicked off the presentation with a surprising announcement that I had sold the business! The reaction in the room from our partners was filled with shock and disapproval. However, I reassured everyone by revealing the identity of the buyers – a well-respected entity with whom our partners are already familiar, and who truly understands NTA’s ethos. This led us to the next slide, showing images of NTA’s dedicated staff members. The atmosphere shifted dramatically, with a collective sigh of relief, smiles all around, and a heartfelt round of applause.” Thanks to the implementation of an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) scheme, our employees are now shareholders, all while ensuring that Paul White remains actively involved in steering the business towards future success.

Exciting Developments Ahead

The conference continued with an overview of the past year’s achievements and a sneak peek at upcoming services. This included another solution to integrate our telephony service with CRM systems, plus, the imminent launch of our revamped hosted portal, featuring a sleek design and enhanced functionality.

Networking and Connection

After a morning packed with information, partners enjoyed lunch and networking, reconnecting with old friends and meeting new like-minded telecom professionals. The breakout sessions proved to be a hit, allowing partners to dive deeper into the services they were most interested in, complete with demonstrations and Q&A sessions. To keep the atmosphere light, we organised games for prizes and a magician wowed everyone with his incredible tricks. A highlight of the day included a thrilling Land Rover off-road driving experience.

Celebrating Success

One of the most rewarding parts of the evening was our first-ever partner awards ceremony. We took the time to recognise the hard work and dedication of our partners across various categories, from the Veteran Award for long-standing partnerships, and Best Branded Hardware Showcase, to the Service Provider Award celebrating the highest channel-to-extension ratio.

The excitement was evident as nominees and winners took to social media to announce their achievements, revelling in their successes and the sense of community cultivated during the event.

A Night to Remember

After the awards, the festivities continued in the Long Gallery room, where partners enjoyed drinks and casino games, including Blackjack and Roulette, using NTA-branded fun money. The competitive spirit ignited as partners tried their luck at the tables, adding an extra layer of excitement to the evening.

But the night didn’t end there. We had exclusively hired an elegant wine cellar until 3 am, providing a cosy and rustic ambience for partners to continue their networking and celebration.

Looking Ahead

The feedback from the event has been overwhelmingly positive, with partners expressing their excitement for next year’s gathering. One partner mentioned how much they appreciated learning about the upcoming releases, particularly the integrations, while another praised the event, declaring it “brilliant from start to finish.”

We are thrilled to have hosted such an extravagant event where partners could connect with the friendly NTA team, learn about our latest developments, and enjoy a fantastic day and night, all courtesy of NTA. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
